Once upon a time, on a world similar to, but quite unlike, our own, there was a young man named Yamucha. He was a strong, self-reliant martial artist who lived in the harsh desert. His only friend was Puar, a floating blue cat with the unusual ability to make itself look like almost anything or anyone. Yamucha survived like a wolf, stealing from foolish prey who would dare to venture into his territory. But then, one day, a beautiful young woman, a perverted pig, and an amazing young boy wandered into the desert and changed his life forever.
