Super cute! I love Kisanta - he's my favorite of the kids in Rantarou's class, and this is a really cute cel of Kisanta and Shinbei running.

This is a nice cel of Heidayu, one of the kids in Rantarou's class.

This is a particularly interesting cel, because it has a phantom student. :) On the left is Heidayu, a regular classmate of Rantarou. The kid on the right is a character created by the animation staff in order to fill out Rantarou's class in the first season. There were two of these characters, Yoshimatsu (pictured here) and Otokichi. How do I know their names? Because fortunately, illustrations of those two characters are included along with their names in the Nintama Rantarou settei collection book. These two characters disappeared from the show after a while when the main cast became firmly established.

This is a pretty spiffy cel of Danzou on horseback. Danzou's father owns horses and uses them to transport goods from place to place, so Danzou grew up knowing how to ride.

Yay!! I love the cheer! This is actually from the same cut as the one above. Most of these cels the characters appear to be standing in something - maybe snow?
