Another Hemuhemu ringing the school bell, and this one has the bell!! There's surprisingly little damage on this cel compared to the others from this shipment - this was probably the cel on the bottom of the pile, and when the paint was cleaned off the top it looks almost perfect. Hemuhemu! This cel is a little strange though - it has no holes, but you can see cellophane tape across the bottom. I have other cels from other series where a strip was taped to the cel to add holes, so that's what I think probably happened with this cel. It's also got a weird, serrated edge along the top. But it's still Hemuhemu! I wonder if it's from an episode where he and Gakuenchou were fighting again?

This is a cute cel of Hemuhemu running with two of our favorite students. There's a little paint loss in Hemuhemu's nose, and in the clothes on Kirimaru and Shinbei, especially visible in the missing trace lines. From the stuck-together cel set 06-05.

From the same scene as the cel above. Unfortunately, this multi-layer cel was rolled tightly when I bought it, and the paint from the top layer stuck to the bottom layer in an arc. Because of that, it's impossible to make the cel lay perfectly flat. That's why you can see the wrinkles and strange light reflections from the scanner.

This is a nice cel of Gakuenchou-sensei. Unfortunately, there's a bit of line-fading.

This is a kind of scary Gakuenchou cel. There's also a LOT of paint loss. It looks like he's holding some kind of furoshiki-wrapped package, probably either a bento or something to be delivered. From the stuck-together cel set 06-05.

I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this cel for sale on Yahoo Japan auctions. I knew it had to be mine. So I tried to bid using SMJ. And failed. And failed again. I asked Nick to bid for me by email. No good. The seller had SMJ's auction ID blocked. I became desperate. I begged on anime-beta for someone, anyone to help me get this cel. I was willing to pay whatever was necessary. And someone was kind enough to help me. I am FOREVER grateful. One of two characters of whom I honestly didn't think I'd be able to get a cel. Rikichi is still a long-shot, but at least I've got Komatsuda! Komatsuda Shuusaku, 16 years old, is the school administrative assistant's assistant. He's totally and completely incompetent, both at ninjutsu and at secretarial work. And yet, he loves his job! I just love how he cluelessly stumbles through life, completely oblivious to most everything, almost always rediculously cheerful. And don't think you can get into Ninjutsu Gakuen without signing the entry form, or leave without signing out. He'll make sure that those forms are done, or else follow you to the ends of the earth. Man, I love Komatsuda. ^_^

Wow!! This is Yamamoto Shina, the teacher in the kunoichi-kyoushitsu (female ninja classroom). She's really cool!! This is the young version of Yamamoto-sensei. Sometimes she looks like a kind old woman, and sometimes she looks like this, a beautiful but dangerous young lady. Not even the teachers at the school know her real age.

This is Nomura-sensei, the jitsugi teacher for 2nd year I-gumi class. Not as cute in the anime as in the manga, his unwilling rivalry with Ohki-sensei is probably his most defining characteristic.

Yurari.... It's one of my favorite teachers! This is the school sword master and instructor, Tobe Shinzaemon. He's a great swordsman, unless he doesn't get enough to eat. And then he's too weak to stand.

This is a pretty neat cel of Dai-san Kyoueimaru, the pirate/fisherman, and a barrel of fish. There's a ton of paint and line loss, but it's still got character. From the stuck-together cel set 06-05.

Doi-sensei is missing a hand - it must have been on another layer that wasn't included in the cels I got. This is one of the main reasons I bought a set of highly-damaged cels. I'm just happy to have a nice Dai-san Kyoueimaru cel. Some paint and line loss, but not too bad. From the stuck-together cel set 06-05.

This is an oversized cel of Rantarou's father. I have two cels from this sequence. He's a ninja, but not a very good one. He also works on his own small farm.
