This is a pretty opening cel of Paffy riding on an oversized staff over the sea.

Every time I look at this cel from the first opening credits (also used in the second opening), I can't help thinking to myself "My goodness, Izumi has a BIG nose". Reminds me of the part of Ryu Knight Final where Sarutobi finally tells Izumi that he has the biggest head in the world. ^O^ I also love the way he's grinning like a loon in this cel. I wish I had the cel of his holy symbol too.

I finally managed to get a cel from Sarutobi's ryu summoning sequence. Of course, on the tv screen most of what you can really see from this cel is Sarutobi's arm, but in the cel itself you can see most of his face and the card. Pretty cool. First used in episode 2.

This is another cel from Sarutobi's summon sequence - lots of green, swirly wind! And a tiny little Sarutobi shadow in the center. First used in episode 2.

Paffy gets a little upset when she see's the local specialty. Episode 3.

And I finally got a cute cel of Izumi's ryu, Ryu-Priest Baurus. This one is from Izumi's original summon sequence, first used in episode 3. I think there's something about this ryu that just makes it cuter than the others - maybe it's the little round eyes. I really want a cel of the level up version where you can see his cute little shield!

Paffy hates lizards, and in this scene from episode 3 a cute little red lizard fell right on her head.

Paffy is trying to convince Sarutobi that they should work together to help some poor villagers. From episode 4.
