I don't like Paffy very much, but this is SO cute! It's from the very beginning of episode 15, which starts at night. Paffy and Haguhagu are sleeping in the wagon. There's no background with this cel - the wagon is painted on the cel. The cel is A1-TOME. The pink blanket is a correction layer - originally they painted the blanket a more brownish color (you can see some of the original color peeking out from the lower right corner of the cel). I guess they decided they didn't like it.

From a little later in eps 15, Adu and Paffy try to make Gratches feel better. They look so domestic!

Here's a cute scene from episode 16. The mayor woke Katze up in the middle of the night, and she couldn't see a thing without her glasses. Someone who owned this cel in the past lost a little paint in her hair when they separated it from the pencil, and they tried to correct some of the loss with a permanent marker or something. :-P You can see it in her hairline.

Wow, a cool Katze cel with her gun, and a matching background! The background is cropped to the end of the sequence (she rolled across a long pan background), and the cel is from the middle of the sequence, but the person who put it together chose one of the best cels from this sequence as Katze tries to fight against the Goblin mech. Episode 16.

This is my very first bank cel! In fact, it's also an opening cel (since they used versions of the ryu summons in the second set of opening credits). This is from the very beginning of Katze's summons sequence - she spins the abacus around as if she were twirling a six-shooter, and then pulls the card out. First used in episode 16.

Ah hah. This is from episode 16, they're deciding whether or not to help Katze. Adeu is just about to put his hands behind his head. I wish I had a Sarutobi to go with it - how cute are they together!?!
