This is a nifty little cel that really shows off the "horse" and wagon that Izumi and Paffy usually ride in. Oddly, the cel was cut around the wagon and the bottom and taped onto another piece of acetate. From the arrival at the castle, episode 17.

A nice backgrounded cel of Paffy and Izumi talking to Maya, the royal retainer. From episode 17.

In this scene, Paffy is encouraged by the loyal citizens of Phafuricia following the tragedy of the previous episode. Episode 18.

Probably from episode 18, Katze tries selling weapons and armor to the soldiers of the neighboring kingdom.

It's the strangest thing. I watch this series, and not only do I feel compelled to buy cels of mechs, but I also must have cels of a female character with gratuitous cleavage. But I can't help it! I love Katze - she's one of my favorite characters in the series. Her mercenary attitude, nice character design, questionable sense of ethics, cute accent, and mercenary attitude are great. This is a classic Katze trying to raise her profits and minmize her losses (eps 18). If I ever have to make a "for sale" page, this is going on the banner.

Thanks to Mala, without whom I NEVER would have been able to identify the source of this cel. It's from episode 18, and Izumi just tossed a gun to Katze.

Izumi demonstrates that he's not just a pretty face in episode 18. Actually, he seems to be pretty good at all this strategic planning stuff. Maybe we should export him to Legend of the Galactic Heroes. ^_^

Heh. Adeu fell off the flying whale. What a nitwit. This is a pretty nice cel - it came with the background too. From the very end of episode 19.

Nothing like a well-tended garden on top of a flying whale. Did anyone REALLY think he was just the hired help? Episode 20.
Adeu and the others take a little break and talk about the current situation. I love this cel - it's so cute! Episode 20.
Idoro's undead henchmen attack! Episode 20.
This is a nice profile of everyone's favorite priest. He's slowly gaining conciousness in this scene. Not that you could tell, because he looks the same when he's sleeping as he does when he's awake. From episode 20.

This is a great shot of Hayatemaru, Gesshin's Ryu-samurai. One thing I like about Hayatemaru is that he often uses the spear instead of the katana. I think it makes for some nice variety. (eps 20)

Wow, Adeu actually thought through the situation and figured out how to defeat Idoro. Cool. Episode 20.
This is cute scene. The three stooges on the left (yes, they are guys) appeared earlier in the series and were completely thrashed by Gesshin and the rest. Having run into our brave adventurers again, they decide to try for revenge. Thank God, at least Sarutobi wasn't completely fooled by their, ahem, clever disguises. (eps 21)

Heh heh. Any cel of an injured Haguhagu is a good one. From "filler" episode 22.
This cel has really nice shadowing and detail, used during a backlighting effect. It's from the end of the "filler" episode 22.
