This is the samurai who defeated Gesshin's father and obtained his family's sword. And boy, is he difficult to defeat. Gesshin needed to do some leveling-up before he challenged this boss. Episode 30.

Gesshin duels to try to recover his family's sword, which may be one of the keys to being able to defeat the Jaryuzoku. Episode 30.
